Seborrheic dermatitis is a common skin condition affects mostly men. Based on its name, it is clear that the involved areas are those with severe seborrhea (scalp, face and upper torso). Clinically, dermatitis can manifest in several different ways. By non-inflammatory symptoms such as simple scaling without redness (eg dandruff) or by red plaques on the face and body covered with oily scales. The most severe variant of the disease is associated with the involvement of the entire body surface. Fortunately, it is rare.

I named this article this way because there is so much to write about acne that I thought about creating a separate section on the disease. First of all, I want to say that acne is not "dirty" skin. People with acne take a good care of their skin to avoid acne. Their daily struggle in front of the mirror is hard enough for the self-esteem and they do not need unwanted advice such as: "why don't you try these cosmetics". These are usually people with a huge arsenal of products on their nightstands. Almost everyone goes through some of the stages of acne during puberty. With this first article I will try to explain the mechanism by which this dermatosis affects the skin.

Over the last decade, the dermatoscope has become a faithful companion of the dermatologist. In essence, dermoscopy is an opportunity to look into skin structures through a device called a dermatoscope. By magnification of the observed object, the pigmented and non-pigmented skin formations could be examined and diagnosed in detail. Thus, the annual preventive examination could detect skin cancer, which in early diagnosis is associated with higher survival rate.

I will tell you about skin lesions called fibromas (skin tags), which affect about 46% of humanity. They are benign connective tissue formations that occur in both sexes with equal frequency. They can be flat almost at the level of the skin or larger in size. They are usually with the color of the surrounding skin, rarely can be more pigmented. Skin tags are soft and reach a size of about 2-5 mm. Fibromas are thought to be genetically determined and a person is much more likely to develop them if one of their parents has such lesions.
